PREPTONE is a fast-evaporating solvent with a dual action blend of d-limonene and an acetone base. This solvent incorporates Ultra Prep® terpene solvent technology. PREPTONE is known to be comparable to other fast-evaporating solvents like Methyl Ethyl Ketone and TCE. Since Acetone is VOC exempt, achieving VOC compliance is simple by incorporating PREPTONE into your solvent line-up.

- It can work well with all metals and select plastics
- It is only compatible with specific elastomers
- Not recommended for use on painted surfaces that could react unfavorably with the acetone base of PREPTONE.
