Product Description
SAFE STRIP is an environmentally conscious solution for paint and resin removal. SAFE STRIP serves as a safe alternative to hazardous solvents that are typically used for paint cleanup and removal like:
- Methylene Chloride
- Toluene
- Benzene
SAFE STRIP has a significantly lower Inhalation Hazard Index compared to Methylene Chloride or MEK, and it ensures safer use in both commercial and industrial settings.
SAFE STRIP can be an effective solution for cured and uncured coating, being applied through immersion or a brush-on, rinse-off solvent.
Available to purchase in

Paint Removal
Applications
SAFE STRIP is suitable for all coatings including:
- Two-Step high-solids epoxy
- Polyurethane resins
This solvent also serves excellently in cleaning paint guns, gun-cleaning tanks with and/or ultrasonic or mechanical agitation.
It’s important to note for SAFE STRIP’s application, the reaction time depends on the paint or coating to be removed. To get the most out of your removal, SAFE STRIP can be safely heated up to 60 degrees Celsius.
SAFE STRIP can be recycled and reused multiple times. Special processes like vacuum distillation and decantation can be performed on spent material for soil separation, enabling solvent reusability.

Safety and Handling Precautions
SAFE STRIP is highly effective in paint removal, but potent enough to dissolve certain rubber and plastic materials:
- Seals
- Gaskets
- Buckets
- Bottles
Safety glasses and gloves are adequate precautions during handling of SAFE STRIP. Our recommendation is butyl rubber gloves for optimum protection. For instances of skin or eye contact, thoroughly wash with plenty of water.
While SAFE STRIP is combustible, ensure the temperature does not exceed 60 degrees Celsius when using it in a heated immersion tank. Use SAFE STRIP only in well-ventilated areas, away from excessive heat and open flames.
Please review the safety data sheet thoroughly before handling.
