NEW II is an environmentally preferred parts cleaner. A solvent degreaser meeting MIL PRF-680 Type II qualifications for vehicle maintenance, parts washers and other wipe applications.
Product Description
NEW II is a Parts Cleaner and a more environmentally conscious option for a solvent degreaser. As a parts washer solvent, NEW II meets the MIL-PRF-680C, Type II requirements for motor vehicle maintenance and upkeep along with spray and wipe. NEW II’s strong degreasing capabilities help remove resins, oil, carbon and grease off many surfaces.

Parts Washing Tank
Applications
NEW II is a solvent that should be applied undiluted. It’s important to take into consideration that NEW II is most efficient when used in a mounted parts washer or in any immersion tank. Other applications of NEW II include:
- The option to spray & wipe NEW II on the surface that needs to be cleaned.
- For additional cleaning methods, re-apply NEW II and agitate with brushes or rags.
- Speeding of evaporation can take place through wiping with a dry rag or using compressed air.

Safety and Handling Precautions
When handling the NEW II solvent degreaser, it’s important to take into consideration:
- Choose a space to handle NEW II with adequate ventilation, to avoid extensive inhalation.
- While extensive protective equipment is not needed for handling NEW II, we recommend rubber gloves to protect skin irritation.
- NEW II should be treated as a combustible liquid and kept away from ignition sources.
- Any rags used with NEW II should be stored properly to avoid spontaneous combustion, preferably in a metal container.
